Joyce Ann Brown, age 66, of Wellston, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio.  She was born January 23, 1958 in Wellston, Ohio, daughter of the late Frank "Sag" Brown and Gertrude Maxine McNellis Brown.  Joyce was a loving homemaker, mother, grandmother, and caregiver who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with her grandson and great-granddaughters.  She is survived by her daughter, Shawna Brown; grandson, Braxston Brown; great-granddaughters, Olivia Brown and Riverlynn Lambert; siblings, Larry Brown, Anthony Brown (Sally), Alvis Brown (Debbie), Kathy Dye, Gary Brown, and Tim Brown, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Besides her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by siblings, Judy Tate, Thomas Brown, Bob "Skinner" Brown, Tillie Clark, and Connie Bush.  Calling hours will be Thursday, September 26th, from 12 to 2 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 2 p.m. with Tammy Lowe officiating.  Burial will be in the Ridgewood Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions be given to the funeral home to help with expenses.  Online condolences can be given to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
