Kathy D. Douglas, age 65, of Wellston, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022, at Edgewood Manor in Wellston.  She was born May 4, 1956 in Xenia, Ohio, daughter of the late Homer H. House and Mary C. Partlow House.  Kathy was a 1974 graduate of Wellston High School and the property manager at Wells Manor in Wellston for several years.  She attended Mt. Carmel Church and always enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.  Kathy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, L.J. and Alisha McKenzie of North Port, Florida; grandsons, DeCota McKenzie of Wellston and Jaxon McKenzie of North Port, Florida; brother and sister-in-law, Glenn and Leisha House of Hamden; best friend, Paula Wolford of Wellston, as well as several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.  Besides her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Michael L. Douglas in 2000; sister, Kaye House; and nephews, Jay Ireland and Jacob House.  In keeping with Kathy's wishes, her body was cremated.  Private family burial will be in the Ridgewood Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
