Earl Keith Davis, age 87, of Wellston, passed away Monday, February 21, 2022, at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio.  He was born August 5, 1934 in Portsmouth, Ohio, son of the late Edward T. Davis and Julia A. Fox Davis.  Keith was a 1953 graduate of Wellston High School.  He retired from Frick-Gallagher Manufacturing in Wellston, where he was employed for 43 years.  Keith enjoyed hunting, fishing, working puzzle books, cheering for the Ohio State Buckeyes, and playing Scrabble and eating pizza on Friday nights.  Most of all, he loved spending time with his family around the fire pit.  Keith is survived by his children, Mike Davis (Cheryl), Myra Ross (Larry), Bill Davis (Karen), Errol Davis, Elliott Davis, Dena Angle (David) and Jimmy Davis (Tracey); sister, Judy Ross; brother, Gary Davis (Connie); along with 18 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Evelyn M. Parker Davis in 2011; grandson, Gary "Dude" Davis; great-granddaughter, Aleigha Hayes; brothers, Eugene Davis and Rev. David Coleman Davis; and sister, Virginia Martin.  Calling hours will be Friday, February 25 ^th , from 5 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston, where Rosary service will be held at 8 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, February 26 ^th , at 11 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Wellston with Father Thomas Herge officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in Keith's name be given to Sts.
