Kenneth Ray Williams, Sr., age 74, of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at his home. He was born October 2, 1945 in Jackson County, Ohio, to the late Ethelbert Ray Williams and Wanda Marie Denny Williams. Kenny graduated from Coalton High School with the class of 1964. He was a veteran of the United States Army, who served as a frontline medic during the Vietnam War. Kenny was a hard worker, who retired from Trisco Systems and was a member of Laborer's Union #423. He enjoyed fishing and loved any type of car racing and family vacations. Kenny attended World Outreach Ministries. He is survived by his wife of almost 55 years, Sue Mathews Williams; children, Tessy Olson (Mark) of Marysville, Kenny Ray Williams, Jr. (Leah) of Wellston and Missy Henry (Luke) of Wellston; grandchildren, Lukie Henry, Morgan Williams, Mallory Olson, Hannah Olson and Bailey Williams; sister, Jeannie Hammond (Bob) of Jackson; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Black. Calling hours will be Sunday, July 26, 2020, from 12 to 2 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 2 P.M. with Pastor Rob Ervin officiating. Burial, with military honors, will be in the Greenlawn Memory Gardens in Coalton.
