Kessa Nicole Johnson, age 35, of Hamden, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024, at her home.  She was born October 5, 1988 in Chillicothe, Ohio.  Kessa was a 2007 graduate of Wellston High School and was a former retail clerk at area businesses.  She loved being outdoors, motorcycle riding, fishing and always enjoyed listening to music.  Kessa is survived by her father, Kris Johnson; step-father, Jake Shepherd; sister, Jordan Stepp (Zach); brother, Alex Johnson (Stephanie); grandfather, Frank Johnson; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  Kessa was preceded in death by her mother, Paris L. Cline Shepherd; brother, Broderick "Brody" Wilson; grandparents, Larry and Vicki Cline and Jean Ann Johnson; and her aunt, Lori Kelly.  A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, September 5th, at 5 p.m. at World Outreach Ministries with Pastor Rob Ervin and Pastor Carmen Cline officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
