Kevin Daniel Chesser, age 66, of Hamden, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2025, at his home.  He was born April 9, 1959 in McArthur, Ohio to the late Dale Chesser and Anna Mae Robinson Chesser.  Kevin retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation where he was employed for several years.  He was a family man who always made sure that his family was taken care of.  In his spare time, he enjoyed drawing and working on vehicles and tractors.  Kevin is survived by his wife of 43 years, Teresa E. Sharp Chesser; children, Rachel Chesser (Glen Faulk) and Shaun Daniel Chesser; grandchildren, Zachary Bartoe (Lily), Madison Thompson (Riley), Jaylynn Bartoe, and Zayden Thompson; siblings, Jonathan Chesser, Frona Chesser, Clarence Chesser (Norma), Matthew Chesser, Jeffrey Chesser (Diana), Benjamin Chesser (Lori) and Aaron Chesser (Jamie); as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sara Bartoe; grandson, Isaiah Bartoe; sister, Connie O'Rourke; and brother, David Chesser.  In keeping with Kevin's wishes, cremation followed his passing.  A Celebration of Life gathering will be held Sunday, August 10th, at 1 p.m. at the Eagles Hall in McArthur.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
