Larry Jay Arthur, Sr., age 65, of Wellston, passed away Monday, November 25, 2019, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He was born June 12, 1954 in Wheelersburg, Ohio to the late David E. Arthur and Virginia A. Reed Arthur.  Larry was a 1972 graduate of Wellston High School.  He was a former employee of Pillsbury for 30 years, where he worked in building maintenance.  Larry was an excellent musician, who enjoyed playing the guitar, along with spending time with his family and friends.  He attended Roads Missionary Baptist Church.  Larry is survived by his wife of 45 years, Dianna Lynn Tilley Arthur; children, Larry Arthur, Jr. of Wellston, Angelina Dye of Wellston, Jennifer McCarty (John) of Columbus and Marcella Royster (Terry) of Kentucky; siblings, Sue Logan (Mel) of Columbus, Mary Richardson (Ralph) of Georgia, Dennis Arthur of Wellston, and Jane Wilbur (Paul) of Wellston; as well as 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Besides his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Shott.  In keeping with Larry's wishes, cremation will take place.
