Larry A. Richards

  Larry A. Richards, age 67, of McArthur, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Holzer Medical Center in Jackson. He was born February 16, 1959 in Charleston, West Virginia, son of the late Robert F. Richards and Mary J. Simmons Richards. Family was very important to Larry. He loved his children and treasured time spent with them. Larry enjoyed photography, and over the years spent lots of hours coaching baseball and softball. He is survived by his six children, Tony Richards (Christina), Misty Holliday (Brian Johnson), Laryssa Richards, Macey Richards (Toby Kirby), Payten Richards (CC Campbell) and Charlie Richards; grandchildren, Shaelyn, Addyson, Gavin and Mia; brother, Robert Richards; sisters, Teresa Ashmore, Dawn Thompson and Beverly Richards, along with aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his sister, Debbie McManis. Calling hours will be Monday, June 22, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. A Celebration of Life service will follow the calling hours at 7 p.m. with Danny Wiseman officiating. In keeping with Larry’s request, cremation will follow the service.
