Laticia B. "Tish" Nickell, age 81, of Hamden, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, October 14, 2023, from her home.  She was born September 11, 1942 in Frankfort, Ohio, daughter of the late Paul J. King and Margaret E. Raver King.  Tish was a loving homemaker, as well as a foster mother to many over the years.  She was a member of Truth Free Will Baptist Church in Hamden and was a teacher's aide at Truth Christian School.  Tish's church, and her faith in God, was a big part of her everyday life.  She enjoyed cleaning the church and fellowshipping with her church family.  In years past, Tish was also a Cub Scout den mother.  She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Keith C. Nickell; son, Shawn D. King (Tosha) of Albany; grandchildren, Jaiden King, Jaycob Blanton, Hannah Larison, and Harper King; brother, Joe King (Bonnie) of Kingston; along with several nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, Tish was preceded in death by brothers, Paul A. King and Charles King; sister, Mary Lou McCloud; and mother-in-law, Edna Nickell.  Calling hours will be Thursday, October 19th, from 12 to 2 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jim Eberts officiating.  Burial will be in the Elk Cemetery.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
