Lawrence K. "Joe" Joseph, age 88, of Wellston, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at the home of his son in Hamden.  He was born April 1, 1933 in Pedro, Ohio to the late Robert and Faye Joseph.  Joe retired from Bellville Mining Company in Oak Hill, where he was employed as a heavy equipment mechanic.  He is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Joe and Nancy Joseph of Hamden and Terry Saunders of Ironton; sisters, Kathy, Linda and Lillian; brother, Jim; along with 2 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Norma Jean Joseph in 2009; and brother, John "Jack" Joseph.   Calling hours will be Saturday, November 27th, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston, where the funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor John Pelletier officiating.  Graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the Slab Fork Church Cemetery in Pedro.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
