Leah Michelle Williams, age 48, of Wellston, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio. She was born January 25, 1974 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Minor Burt Leach and Deborah Henry Leach. Leah graduated from Wellston High School with the class of 1992 and later received an Associate's Degree in Nursing from the Rio Grande School of Nursing. As well as being a registered nurse, Leah worked for 24 years at A&E Ruston Electric in Jackson. She was a member of the American Legion Post 371 Ladies Auxiliary in Wellston and the Elks Lodge #466 of Jackson. Leah was a simple, very selfless person who loved everybody. She loved going on vacations, hanging out in the pool with family and friends, watching Grey's Anatomy, and being a caregiver to others. 33 years ago, Leah fell in love with her high school sweetheart, Kenny Ray Williams, and they shared 22 years of marriage. Besides her husband, Kenny Ray, she is survived by children, Morgan Williams and Bailey Williams; parents, Burt and Debbie Leach; brother and sister-in-law, Burt and Mandy Leach; sister and brother-in-law, Dina and Bryan Wilbur; mother-in-law, Sue Williams; sisters and brothers-in-law, Tessy and Mark Olson and Missy and Luke Henry; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Kenny Williams; and grandparents, Sonny Leach, Jolene Leach Snyder and Millard "Junior" and Nancy Henry. Calling hours will be Wednesday, September 14th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 2 p.m. with Pastor Rob Ervin officiating. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Memory Gardens in Coalton.
