Lillian Irene Thomas, age 87, of Wellston, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024.  She was born January 8, 1937 in Wellston, Ohio, daughter of the late John R. Click and Laura L. Nichols Click.  Lilly, as she was known to everyone, was a seamstress at the former Kuppenheimer Manufacturing Company in Wellston for several years.  Later, she was a sales clerk at both Stiffler's Department Store and Fruth Pharmacy.  Lilly loved being outdoors, working in her flowers, gardening, and watching the birds.  She enjoyed bowling and quilting and was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan who never wanted to miss a televised football game.  Lilly is survived by her children, Brenda Hill, Jeffrey Melvin (wife Kim), and Lisa Abele; grandchildren, Matt Kendrick (wife Kerry), Jason Kendrick (wife Twila), Nikki Melvin, Caleb Melvin, and Kylie Melvin; great-grandchildren, Brielle Kendrick, Brenden Kendrick; Cameron Kendrick, Reid Kendrick, Hannah Kendrick, and Madison Burton; along with several nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Walter Click, John Click, and Carl Click; sister, Frances Patton; and son-in-law, Pat Hill.  In keeping with Lilly's wishes, there will be no services and cremation followed her passing.  In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in Lilly's memory to be given to one of the following: SOMC Hospice, 2201 25th St., Portsmouth, Oh. 45662; Jackson County Dog Pound, P.O.
