Lois J. Patton, age 79, of Wellston, passed away Monday, August 12, 2024, at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio.  She was born July 22, 1945 in Jackson, Ohio, daughter of the late Willard James Essman and Arizona Hull Essman.  Lois was a former waitress at local area restaurants and enjoyed crocheting and playing bingo.  She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Grow and Chris Patton; sister, Patty Martindill; along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great- nephews.  Besides her parents, Lois was preceded in death by daughter, Deidra Willis, grandson, Joshua Willis; sister, Mary Canter; brother, Art Essman; and infant brother, James Essman.  In keeping with Lois' request, cremation followed her passing.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
