Lois G. Weaver, age 84, of Creola, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025.  She was born August 27, 1940 in Dorton, Kentucky, daughter of the late Vernon Vanover and Delphia Greer Vanover.  Lois was a 1958 graduate of Wilton High School in Wilkesville where she was the valedictorian of her class.  Lois, along with her husband, Fred, were the former owners of Weaver's Tree Farm in Creola.  She also owned and operated Lois's Antique Shop in Creola.  She attended the Wellston Church of the Nazarene.  Lois is survived by several nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Fred A. Weaver in 2017; brothers, Hershel Vernon Vanover, Ray Everett Vanover, Guy Edward Vanover, and Davis Eugene Vanover, and sister, Agnes Bowen.  In keeping with Lois's request, there will be no calling hours.  Graveside service will be Monday, June 30th at 10 a.m.  at the Elk Cemetery in McArthur with Pastor Jim Griffith officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
