Obituary

Loretta "Red" LeMaster, age 82, of McArthur, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.  She was born June 17, 1942 in Vinton County, Ohio, daughter of the late Claude H. Forrest and Della F. Clark Forrest.  Loretta was a loving homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cleaning her house constantly, being outdoors working in her flower beds, and sitting on the porch watching the birds.  She also enjoyed watching the family T.V. series "Little House on the Prairie", "The Waltons", and "Bonanza" along with any Hallmark movie.  Loretta is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, Lindsey J. LeMaster; son, Michael L. LeMaster of McArthur; daughter, Lorena Fravel of McArthur; granddaughter, Olivia Fravel; sisters, Shirley Tobias (Al Hauswirth) of Chillicothe and Judy Mango (Mike) of Chillicothe; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Helen Pittenger, Dorothy Forrest, Mary Woodgeard, Betty Smith, Earl Forrest, Marvin Forrest, and James Forrest.  Calling hours will be Monday, January 20th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will be Tuesday, January 21st, at 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with James Forrest officiating.  Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
