Mary Louise Eanes Merrill, also lovingly known as Granny, age 92, of Wellston, passed away Friday, April 19, 2024, at her home.  She was born August 14, 1931 in Jackson, Ohio. Louise retired from Four Winds Community where she was employed for several years.  She was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports throughout the years.  Above all, Louise loved time spent with her family.  She is survived by her daughters, Rita Donise McFadden (Roger), Peggy Linton, and Becky Hutchinson; grandchildren, Jody Wilkett, Sheree Cordle, Paula Lambert, Heather Fortner, Craig Linton, Eric Linton, Tonya Bowman-Nova, and Christopher Hutchinson; brother and sister-in-law, Dana and Sue Bush; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Dallas Leach; along with 17 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Donald Raymond Merrill in 1982; mother and step-father, Charlene (Pope) and Dana Bush; father, William Ernest Eanes; brothers, Donald Eanes and Jack Eanes; and infant sisters, Peggy Ann Eanes and Martha Jane Eanes.  Calling hours will be Tuesday, April 23rd, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 3 p.m. with Pastor Michael Jadrnicek officiating.  Burial will be in the Ridgewood Cemetery.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
