Marcia Marilyn Hunter, age 85, of Hamden, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio. She was born March 23, 1939 in Glenroy, Ohio to the late Willard Moore and Goldie Jones Moore. Marcia was a 1957 graduate of Coalton High School and later received a Bachelor of Arts degree. She was a proud veteran of the United States Army who served as an Army Secretary at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. She was a former employee of Buckeye Community Services for several years as well as being an aide at Hamden Elementary School. Marcia had a strong Christian faith and formerly attended the Hamden United Methodist Church. She was an avid animal lover and supporter and was a member of the Ohio Humane Society. Marcia is survived by her children, David Conlin of Dade City, Florida and Becky Davis of North Port, Florida; granddaughters, Misty Jordan, Brynna Davis and Kaylee Nadeau; great-grandsons, Evan and Cohen Jordan; sister-in-law, Janice Moore; and caregiver, Melissa Rouch. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Hunter; son, Jeffrey Conlin; daughter-in-law, Rita Conlin; and brother, Thomas M. Moore. Calling hours will be Friday, March 21st, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 1 p.m. with Pastor Tim Jones officiating.
