Obituary

Margie M. Daily Lambert, age 85, of Florida, and a former resident of Wellston, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at Brandley Hospice House in Summerfield, Florida.  She was born November 13, 1935 in Chillicothe, Ohio, daughter of the late E.H. "Jack" Daily and Garnet M. Quick Daily.  Margie was a housewife and mother, and was also a former manager of a liquor store in Florida for 15 years.  In previous years, Margie always enjoyed going to yard sales and flea markets.  She is survived by her children, William D. Lambert, Jr., Randall Haward Lambert, Terry Lynn Lambert, Lorrie Lambert Goodwin and Paul Edward Lambert; sisters, Judy Denney, Virginia "Hoppie" Spires and Sue Leach; brothers, Dick Daily and Robert "Bumper" Daily; along with 15 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, Margie was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Lambert, Sr.; grandchildren, Holly and Dolly Lambert and Lorienne Goodwin; sister, Kathleen "Kat" Wallace; and brothers, Gary Daily and Jack Daily.  Calling hours will be Thursday, September 2nd from 12 to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 1 p.m. with Pastor John Pelletier officiating.  Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions toward the funeral expenses be given to the funeral home.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
