Margaret Ann "Margie" Taborn, age 91, of Hamden, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025, at her home.  She was born May 3, 1933 in Radcliff, Ohio, daughter of the late Andrew Joseph Hagerty and Bessie E. Molihan Hagerty.  Margie was a 1951 graduate of Wilton North High School.  In 1987, at the same graduation ceremony with two of her daughters, she graduated from Rio Grande College where she earned a bachelor's degree in education.  For many years, Margie was an educator who taught at Pioneer School in Chillicothe, Hope Haven School in Jackson and served as a substitute teacher at area schools.  Over the years, Margie continued to be very active as a real estate broker, clerk for the village of Hamden, substitute postmaster for the Hamden Post Office, and a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Wellston.  She is survived by her 8 children, Barbara Jenkins, Cathy Mercer (Rick), John Taborn, Joni Deck, Jim Taborn, Jeff Taborn (Debbie), Kim Taborn, and Tamara Raines (David); sister, Carolyn Dye (Roger), along with 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, Margie was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Lee Taborn; twin sons, Kevin and Kyle; grandchildren, Michael Deck and Kaitlyn Ward; and siblings, Andrew Joseph Hagerty, Jr., Dorothy Booth, Jack Hagerty, Richard Hagerty, Rita Hensler, Bob Hagerty, Eddie Hagerty, Harold Hagerty, and Donnie Hagerty.  Calling hours will be Monday, April 7th, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston where a Rosary service will begin at 7 p.m.  Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 8th, at 11 a.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Father Thomas Herge officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mt.
