Mark Anthony Coy, age 50, of Wellston, passed away Monday, December 19, 2022, at his home.  He was born August 31, 1972 in Gallipolis, Ohio to James C. Coy and Lucretia D. Staten Coy.  Mark was a 1991 graduate of both Wellston High School and Buckeye Hills Career Center.  He was a member of the American Legion Post 371 of Wellston, and in his spare time he enjoyed building models, fishing, working word search puzzles and tinkering in the garage.  Mark is survived by his parents, Jim and Lucretia Coy; children, Brian Allen Coy, Dakota Andrew Cadle and Ashton Blake Coy; brother, Chris Coy; sister, Jill Campbell (Donald); as well as 5 grandchildren and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom and Martha Staten and Ted and Dorothy Coy, and aunt, Diana Johnson.  In keeping with Mark's wishes, cremation followed his passing.  A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, December 22nd, at 5p.m. at the Community of Life Church, 652 Radcliff Lane, Wellston.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
