Mark Allen Haller, age 68, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July 20, 2025, at the HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital.  He was born December 29, 1956 in Elkins, West Virginia to the late Richard Doyle Haller and Beatrice Eva Phillips Haller.  As a young boy, Mark was active with Boy Scout Troop 48, and he earned the distinguished title of Eagle Scout.  He was a 1975 graduate of Jackson High School and received a bachelor's degree in business from Ohio University and a master's degree in management from Troy University.  Mark was a veteran of the Persian Gulf War and retired from the United States Army Reserves with 22 years of military service.  He was a software engineer who enjoyed computer research and spending time with his dog, friends and relaxing in the sunshine and pool.  Mark was a member and deacon at the First Presbyterian Church in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida.  He is survived by his wife, Sherryl Ridgeway Haller; brother, Paul Haller, and wife, Dr. Marla Haller; sister, Tami Wyant, and husband, Joey Wyant; as well as 1 niece, 5 nephews, and several cousins and friends.  In keeping with Mark's wishes, there will be no services and private burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery in Jackson.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
