Mark Allen Haller, age 68, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July 20, 2025, at the HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital. He was born December 29, 1956 in Elkins, West Virginia to the late Richard Doyle Haller and Beatrice Eva Phillips Haller. As a young boy, Mark was active with Boy Scout Troop 48, and he earned the distinguished title of Eagle Scout. He was a 1975 graduate of Jackson High School and received a bachelor's degree in business from Ohio University and a master's degree in management from Troy University. Mark was a veteran of the Persian Gulf War and retired from the United States Army Reserves with 22 years of military service. He was a software engineer who enjoyed computer research and spending time with his dog, friends and relaxing in the sunshine and pool. Mark was a member and deacon at the First Presbyterian Church in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. He is survived by his wife, Sherryl Ridgeway Haller; brother, Paul Haller, and wife, Dr. Marla Haller; sister, Tami Wyant, and husband, Joey Wyant; as well as 1 niece, 5 nephews, and several cousins and friends. In keeping with Mark's wishes, there will be no services and private burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery in Jackson.
