Robert Mark Rider, age 74, of Wellston, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2025, at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio.  He was born September 29, 1950 in Wellston, Ohio to the late Robert Dale Rider and Barbara Jean Steorts Rider.  Mark was a 1968 graduate of Wellston High School and later graduated from Ohio University.  He was a veteran of the United States Army who served during the Vietnam era.  For many years, Mark was a typesetter for The Telegram Printers in Wellston and was presently employed as a caregiver for Buckeye Community Services.  Mark is survived by his siblings, Brenton Jay Rider (Debra), Carmen Lynn Cline (John), Toni Patrice Osborne (Steve), and Tracey Faith Lamb (Rick), all of Wellston, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Cremation followed Mark's passing.  A Celebration of Life service will be held Tuesday, September 16, at 7 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston, with his sister, Carmen Cline, officiating.  Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service.  Private burial will be in the Ridgewood Cemetery.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
