Mary Jane Partlow Walburn, age 84, of Wellston, passed peacefully to her eternal home on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Jenkins Care Community in Wellston. She was born January 25, 1937 in Wellston, Ohio to the late Lawrence L. "Jack" Partlow and Kathryn J. (Collins) Partlow. Mary Jane was a Wellston High School graduate in the class of 1954. She was employed for many years at the Pillsbury Plant of Wellston, where she served as a line and team leader until her retirement in 2002. Following her retirement, she began her most important life role when she began caring for her great grandchildren. Mary Jane always enjoyed spending her free time visiting with friends, cooking delicious meals, taking many trips with friends and family, vacations to Holden Beach, NC, making Hitty Dolls, caring for her pets, working in her flower beds and shopping. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wellston. Mary Jane is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Sandy Walburn of Blythe, California; brother, Bill Partlow of Wellston; niece, Sue (Randy) Boggs of Springfield; nephew, Stephen Partlow of Wellston, grandchildren, Heather (Ryan) Hostetler of Cable and Christopher (Heather) Callahan of Jackson; great grandchildren, Madison Callahan, Caleb Hostetler, Cole Callahan and Grace Callahan; special cousin, Sue Simon; along with many extended cousins and dear friends. Besides her parents, Mary Jane was proceeded in death by sister-in-law, Mary Lou Partlow and her lifelong friend, Helen Downard. Calling hours will be Thursday, January 20th from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 1 p.m. with Pastor John Pelletier officiating. Mary Jane will be laid to rest in Ridgewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be given to the American Alzheimer's Association in Mary Jane's loving memory. For those unable to attend, Mary Jane's funeral service will be live-streamed starting at 1 p.m. under her obituary on the McWilliams Funeral Home website.
