Melissa "Missy" Hill

  Melissa Kae Hill, known to family and friends as Missy, went to live with God on Friday, May 29, 2026, at the age of 59. While on this earth Missy was small at only 5 ft. tall, but mighty in her attitude. Never one to give in, she knew what she wanted and fought hard to get it. Missy loved music, going for rides, and gambling on any game that she played.  But most of all, she loved her family fiercely. Surviving Missy are her children, Brad, Brandy and Autumn Thacker, along with her much loved grandchildren, many loving family members and friends, and the true love of her life. Having a strong faith, there is no doubt that Missy was welcomed into Heaven by God, and surrounded by many family members, most importantly her son Jesse Ray Thacker that she talked to daily until the day she finally got to hold him in her arms again. Also welcoming her was her father, Damon Hill; mother, Margaret (McManus) Poston; bonus mom, Debbie Hill; sisters, Bobbie Jo, Mandy, and Rona Marie; and brothers, Shane, Damon Lee, Billy, Bobby Lee, and Larry Dean. Missy was loved so very much and will be missed. Cremation followed Missy’s passing and there will be no services at this time. For those who wish, the family would appreciate donations be given to the funeral home to help with expenses. Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.
