Melissa Dawn Newman, age 48, of Mansfield, passed away Friday, December 10, 2021, at Avita Health Systems in Ontario, Ohio.  She was born April 24, 1973 in Gallipolis, Ohio, daughter of the late Lawrence E. Newman and Dorothy Faye Wiseman Newman.  Missy was a 1992 graduate of Vinton County High School.  She enjoyed cooking and taking care of her dogs.  Missy is survived by her companion of many years, Ronald McBride of Mansfield; daughter, Kaitlyn Kiser of Rio Grande; granddaughter, Aubrey Kiser; brothers, Billy Newman of Puritan and Eric Newman (Trishanna) of McArthur; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Justin Kiser.  No public services will be held and private burial will be in the Hamden Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
