Michael D. Boyer, age 38, of Hamden, passed away Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.  He was born November 13, 1982 in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of the late Ronnie E. Boyer and Sara R. Winsborough Anderson.  Mikey was a kind hearted and very giving person, who always put others before himself.  He enjoyed collecting baseball cards, fishing, and hunting ginseng.  Mikey is survived by his wife, Savannah Jonas; brothers, Heath Winsborough and Tim Sowers; sister, Sara Boyer; as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Calling hours will be Wednesday, July 7, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston, where a funeral service will begin at 1 p.m.  Cremation will follow the service.  In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions be given to the funeral home to help with expenses.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
