Misty Dawn (Lambert) Murphy, age 47, of Kingston, passed away Friday, August 14, 2020. She was born April 24, 1973 in Gallipolis, Ohio to William M. Lambert, Sr. and Sandra Kay McManus Lambert. Misty graduated in 1991 from Vinton County Consolidated High School, as well as Buckeye Hills School of Cosmetology. She was an independent Senior Stylist Cosmetologist. Misty loved riding motorcycles, going to live concerts, and hanging out with her family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening, and taking care of her pets, Mercy, Peek and Boo. Misty was an advocate for Donate Life. In 2008, she gave the gift of life to her brother, Bill, by donating her kidney to him. She was a member of the Moose Lodge #1626 in Chillicothe. Misty is survived by her mother, Sandra Lambert of Hamden; daughters, Katy Dayton (Jon) and Riss Marshall, both of Londonderry; brothers, Bill Lambert (Erin) of Allensville and Leon White (Watcharee) of Coalton; step-mother, Debbie Lambert of Wellston; step-brothers, Heath Whetstone of Wellston, Matt Whetstone of Portsmouth and Kevin Whetstone of Oak Hill; partner, Rick Houser of Kingston; lifetime best friend, Mike Murphy of Waverly; nieces and nephews, Belle, Liz and Eli Lambert, Dakota Bartoe, Jamie Jones and Sam Souders; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Misty was preceded in death by her father, William "Bill" Lambert, Sr. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 6 p.m. with Pastors Jimmy and Sherry Frazier officiating. In keeping with Misty's wishes, cremation will follow the service. For those who wish, memorial contributions in Misty's name can be given to Donate Life Second Chance Trust Fund, Ohio Department of Health, 246 North High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215. For those attending Misty's service, we ask that you follow the Ohio Department of Health and Gov.
