Nadene Wilbur Owsley, age 73, of McArthur, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at her home.  She was born March 13, 1950 in McArthur, Ohio, the daughter of the late Frances Wylodean Brown Heading.  Nadene graduated from Wellston High School with the class of 1969.  She was a former employee of both Goodyear Tire and Rubber in Jackson and Austin Powder.  Nadene always enjoyed fishing, playing Bingo, and watching T.V. game shows, especially Deal or No Deal.  Most of all, she loved taking care of her fur babies and spending time with her family.  Nadene was a member of the V.F.W. Post 9092 in Wellston and the American Legion Post 371 Ladies Auxiliary in Wellston.  She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Darrell Kay Owsley; children, Randy Dean Owsley and Tilena Kay Owsley; grandchildren, Kayle Owsley, Daymien Owsley, Lela Owsley, Tony Devin, Lakin Owsley and Jamie Owsley; great-grandchildren, Kyston and Riley Grubb; sister, Marian Sorrell, and twin sister, Earlene McManus; brother, Earl Eberts; sister-in-law, Pamela Spencer; caregiver, Devon Collingwood; her fur babies, Spike, Sophie, Scooter, and Peaches; along with several other brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends including Tiffany, Robbie, Judy, and Debbie.  Besides her mother, Nadene was preceded in death by sister, Karen Childers; brothers, Steve Wilbur and Jim Wilbur; and her fur baby, Chi Chi.  Calling hours will be Sunday, August 20th, from 12 to 2 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 2 p.m. with Pastor Wil Gillem officiating.  In keeping with Nadene's wishes, cremation will follow the service.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
