Nancy L. Scott, age 84, of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Primrose Memory Care in Lancaster. She was born January 5, 1939, in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of the late Robert B. Rhodes and Margaret "Peg" Kessler Rhodes. Nancy was a 1957 graduate of Wellston High School. She was an educator who received her teaching certification from Rio Grande College. Nancy was also an interior decorator, having graduated from the Harrington School of Design. She was of the Methodist faith and was a member of the Lancaster First United Methodist Church. Nancy enjoyed being outdoors, working in her flowers, skiing, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 61years, Ralph W. "Pink" Scott; daughters, Stephanie Ann Karp (Steve) of Deerfield, Illinois and Elizabeth Ann Scott of Lake Forest, Illinois; sister, Rose Gibson (Dwight) of Granville; brothers, Jim Rhodes (Connie) of Heath and Robert Rhodes (Nancy) of Michigan; along with 4 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with Nancy's wishes, cremation followed her passing. A Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, July 15th, at 11 a.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Nancy's memory can be given to the Lancaster First United Methodist Church, 163 East Wheeling St., Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
