Osie D. "Jess" Rowland, age 86, of Vinton, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020, at Oakwood Community Health Facility in Jackson. He was born August 26, 1933 in Springboro, Ohio, son of the late William Henry Rowland and Artie Marie Cope Rowland.  He is survived by brothers, King Rowland and Benjamin Rowland; sister, Cosie Cope; along with numerous nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 4 sisters.  There will be no calling hours.  Graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at 2 P.M. at the Rowland Family Cemetery in Mt.
