Patty Carolyn Brown, age 79, of Wellston, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at her home.  She was born September 19, 1942 in Leo, Ohio, daughter of the late Raymond and Grace (Fairchild) Preston.  Patty was a 1960 graduate of Coalton High School.  She was a former secretary/accountant for Concrete Unlimited and B&D Ready Mix in Wellston.  Patty enjoyed being outdoors working in her flower gardens, traveling, and putting together puzzles, especially those by Thomas Kincaid.  She, along with her husband, formerly attended Endtime Harvest Church.  Patty is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 64 years, Ronald Keith Brown; children, Cheryl Maynard, Ronale Cook (Anthony), Keith Allen Brown, Mark Edwin Brown and Gary Lee Brown; sisters, Betty Wiles and Jeanette Keifer; along with 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Besides her parents, Patty was preceded in death by sisters, Lillian Preston, Anna Vanhoose and Wilma Dailey; and 2 grandchildren.  Funeral service will be Sunday, August 7 ^th , at 2 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston with Pastor John Star officiating.  Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home 1 hour prior to the funeral service.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
