Paul Allen Sexton, age 68, of Hamden, passed away Friday, January 31, 2025, at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio.  He was born December 22, 1956 in Wellston, Ohio, son of the late Raleigh V. Sexton and Essie W. Kelley Sexton.  Paul was a former press operator at Meridian in Jackson and was a Clinton Township Trustee for 20 years.  Paul was an outgoing person who always enjoyed life and having a good time.  He was a jokester and made everything fun, no matter what.  Paul also enjoyed spending time with his family, listening to music, and singing, which he was pretty good at.  He was a collector of trinkets and other collectables, and in years past, he enjoyed woodworking, mushroom hunting, and going hunting with his son.  Paul is survived by his children, Joshua P. Sexton (Valerie) of McArthur and Tabitha K. Sexton of Savannah, Georgia; grandchildren, Raine Sexton and Shine Sexton; brother and sisters, Wayne Sexton, Janet Norman, Juanita Graham, and Elinor McIntire, all of Wellston, along with several nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents, Paul was preceded in death by siblings, Lawrence Sexton, Velma Hendrickson, Joe Sexton, Carson Sexton and an infant sister.  Calling hours will be Thursday, February 6th, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 1 p.m. and burial will be in the Hamden Cemetery.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
