Paula Sue Remy, age 54, of McArthur, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at the Holzer Medical Center in Jackson, Ohio.  She was born March 24, 1965 in Chillicothe, Ohio.  Paula was a 1983 graduate of Vinton County High School and was the owner and operator of Shear Beauty Hair Salon.  She was a fun-loving person who enjoyed life and loved spending time with her grandkids, Jaxson and Lydia.  Paula is survived by her parents, Paul V. Remy and Ruby J. Kendrick Remy of McArthur; daughter, Lakin N. Steele of McArthur; grandchildren, Jaxson Shane Remy and Lydia Ann Steele; sisters, Christy (Terry) Zimmerman of McArthur, Diane (Bill) Sowers of McArthur, and Marcia (Ezra) Darnell of Wellston; nieces and nephews, Alison (Chance) Sowers, Alec Zimmerman, Zachary Barnett, Whitney Barnett, Michael Thompson, Amanda Thompson, Kayleigh (Malachi) Fairchilds, and Brandon Darnell.  Private visitation for the family will be held at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston with burial to follow in the Elk Cemetery in McArthur.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
