Pauline Ruth Geer, age 96, of Wellston, passed away Friday, September 23, 2022, at Edgewood Manor in Wellston.  She was born March 3, 1926 in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of the late Jacob Roy Kisor and Clara Payne Kisor.  Years ago, Pauline was employed at the Pants Factory in Wellston, then later retired from JC Penney in Ashland, Kentucky.  Pauline was known as a great cook, and she loved cooking for everyone.  She always enjoyed spending time with her family, especially all of her grandchildren.  Pauline was a member of both the Fairview Church of Christ in Christian Union in Vinton and the Church of Christ in Wellston.  She is survived by her daughter, Billijean Wright of Vinton; daughters-in-law, Carolyn Geer of Jackson and Linda Geer of Wellston; grandchildren, Sherman Wright (Diana), Ryan Geer (Tammy), Jeff Geer (Sally), Shannon Whetstone (Larry), Ginger Gregory (David) and Tricia Mullins; sisters, Norma Lockard of Wellston and Virginia Patterson (Pete) of Cincinnati; along with several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Merrill Eugene Geer in 2003; sons, Wesley "Buster" Geer, Terry Geer and Gene Geer; son-in-law, John Wright; daughter-in-law, Jeanette Geer; grandchildren, Kristi Ware (Johnny), Leslie Geer, Wendy Geer, Jerry Geer and Ricky Geer; brothers, Jacob Kisor and Roy Kisor; and sister, Helen Busick.  Calling hours will be Wednesday, September 28 ^th , from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 1 p.m. with Pastor Denver McCarty officiating.  Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
