Phyllis Ann Wilson, age 82, of Wellston, passed away Friday, October 25, 2024, at her home.  She was born August 7, 1942 in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of the late Eugene Maddux and Alice Jeanette Daniel Broft.  Phyllis was a homemaker who worked at several places of employment over the years.  Some of her favorite enjoyments included working in her flowers, tending to the garden and canning her harvest.  In years past Phyllis loved sunbathing, going to the pool with her sons, and attending church.  She also enjoyed listening to country music and dancing.  Phyllis is survived by her sons, Steve Wilson of Fort Pierce, Florida and Jim Wilson of Wellston; grandson, Austin James Wilson; and brother, Danny Broft.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl D. Wilson, and sisters, Janice Creamer and Teresa Ginn.  In keeping with Phyllis' request, cremation followed her passing.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
