Randall Gene "Randy" Kerby, age 62, of Jackson, and a former resident of Vienna, West Virginia, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the Holzer ER Medical Center in Pomeroy, Ohio.  He was born in West Virginia on May 2, 1962 to the late Rev. Gene Kerby and Marie Kirby Kerby.  Randy was a 1980 graduate of Nicholas County High School in Summersville, W.Va. and later received a Bachelor of Political Science Degree from Glenville State University and an Associate of Graphic Arts Degree from WVU Potomac State College.  Randy had an amazing sense of humor and had a flare for storytelling and story writing.  He was a talented artist who enjoyed painting and drawing, and everyone always enjoyed watching him perform his "Great Randino" magic and comedy shows.  Without a doubt, Randy was the family historian, and everyone depended on him for the answers to their questions.  He is now completely whole with no limitations and is running free with his Lord and Savior.  Randy is survived by his sisters, Sharlene Bailey (Dan) of Oak Hill, Oh. and Darlene Phillips (Fran Wilson) of Williamstown, W. Va.; nieces and nephews, DJ Archer (Tim), Kristy Speciale (David), Travis Bailey (Josey), Troy Bailey (Kylie) Darrick Stewart (Grayson), Becca Potts (Austin), and Trevor Bailey (Jade), along with aunts, uncles, and several great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.  Randy was preceded in death by his parents.  Cremation followed Randy's passing.  A Celebration of Life service will be on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Hur Community Church in Hur, West Virginia with Rev. Sandy Runnion officiating.
