William Randall "Randy" Lewis, age 73, of Wellston, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, December 22, 2023, at the Holzer Medical Center in Jackson. He was born August 23, 1950 in Portsmouth, Ohio, son of the late Russell H. Lewis and Martha Redden Lewis. Randy was a 1968 graduate of Portsmouth High School and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps who served during the Vietnam War. He was a retired draftsman and was a former employee of McNally-Pittsburg Manufacturing and Meade Corporation, and later a self-employed draftsman with his company, Davanci Drafting. Randy enjoyed fishing, camping, bird watching, playing Candy Crush, and watching T.V. Most of all, Randy enjoyed the ocean, beach vacations, and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Maureen Kae Mulhern Lewis; sons, Will Lewis (Anna), Joe Lewis, and Jeff Lewis (Kerri); step-sons, Ryan Souders (Samantha) and Adam Souders (Meagan Davis); siblings, Martha O'Conner (Mike), Margaret Lewis, Tammy Osborne (Kevin), Fred Lewis (Ruth Ann), Marie Craft, and Dan Lewis (Carol); along with 7 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 1 step-great grandchild, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, and his faithful companions, Rosie and Gus. Besides his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his brother, Russell Lewis; and step-granddaughter, Aleigha Hayes. Calling hours will be Wednesday, December 27th, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. A Celebration of Life service, with military honors, will follow the calling hours at 6 p.m. with Pastor Tim Jones officiating. In keeping with Randy's wishes, cremation will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in Randy's memory be given to the Ronald McDonald House, Att: Development Dept., 711 East Livingston Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43205; or the Jackson County Dog Pound, P.O.
