Rick E. Hollingshead

  Rick Edward Hollingshead, age 53, of Laurelville, Ohio, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio. He was born March 29, 1973 in Columbus, Ohio, son of the late Harry H. “Ted” Hollingshead and Donna Marie Bulova Hollingshead. Rick was a truck driver, and in his spare time he loved to go fishing and take muddy rides in his pride and joy, his Jeep. Rick is survived by his wife, Laurie A. Cummings Hollingshead; siblings, Bonnie Arthurs, Thomas Hollingshead, Robert Hollingshead, James Hollingshead and Scott Myers; aunt, Wanda Robertson, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides his parents, Rick was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Crabtree. In keeping with Rick’s wishes, cremation followed his passing and private burial for the family will be in the Salem Cemetery in Wellston. A Celebration of Rick’s Life will be held Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Tar Hollow State Park at the Pine Lake Shelter.
