Robert R. "Rob" Fitch, Jr. age 39, of Chillicothe, and a former resident of Wellston, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Chillicothe Post Acute Nursing Facility.  He was born February 19, 1986 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Robert R. Fitch, Sr. and Melissa L. McCumber Fitch.  Rob was a collector who enjoyed collecting all kinds of memorabilia, including celebrity autographs.  He was also a history buff and enjoyed studying and researching the past.  Rob took pride in giving gifts to others and thoroughly loved picking out the perfect gift to give and watching that person enjoy it.  He was always willing to help others and didn't want any recognition in return.  Rob is survived by his mother, Melissa Fitch; sister and brother-in-law, Malorie and Josh Zickafoose; nephew and niece, Toby and Aria Zickafoose; uncle, Bill Fitch, along with several other family members.  He was preceded in death by his father, Rob Fitch, Sr.; and grandparents, Charles W. "Bill" and Mary Lue McCumber and Ira and Jean Fitch, as well as several aunts and uncles.  Calling hours will be Friday, November 14, from 12 to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Graveside service will follow the calling hours at 1:30 at Ridgewood Cemetery with Pastor Daniel DeGarmo officiating.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com
