Obituary

Robert John Cravens, age 39, of Wellston, passed away unexpectedly on his birthday, Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Holzer Meigs in Pomeroy, Ohio.  He was born on February 21, 1987 in Upland, California to James Robert Cravens and Robin Marie Brooks Cravens.  Robert graduated from Wellston High School with the class of 2005 and was presently employed at General Mills in Wellston.  He was an avid Ohio State, Duke, and Lakers fan and enjoyed golfing, fantasy football, traveling, going on vacations, and spending time with his family and friends.  Everyone loved Robert's witty and comical personality along with his very loving, supportive and giving ways.  Most of all, the best quality Robert had was the way that he loved his family.  You could always see him playing and spending time with his children, nieces and nephews.  Robert gave in death as he gave in life; his donation through Lifeline of Ohio will touch the lives of many.  He is survived by his mother, Robin Cravens; father, Jim Cravens (Brenda); fiancé and the love of his life, Kierstan White; children, McKinlee, Nolan, Allie-Rae, Bree and Brycen; sisters, Sara Spaun (Justin Nolan), Heather Cravens (Bill Cummons) and Janiece Cravens; nieces and nephews, Lilly, Jase, Eli, Azlynd, Malia, Jaley, CJ and Gideon; his Nano, Margaret Skeans; grandparents, John and Donna Cravens; aunts and uncles, Mike Skeans, Aunt DeDe (Tammy), Todd Brooks and Janet Pullinger (Tom); his dogs, Bradey and Kobe, along with several cousins and friends, including special friends, Sean Rader, Jon Staten and Michael Patterson.  Robert was preceded in death by his daughter, Lynn Marie Cravens; great-grandparents, Grammy and Grandpa Bob and Grandpa and Grandma Cravens; and uncle, Scott Brooks.  In keeping with Robert's wishes, cremation followed his passing.  A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 28, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Parish Hall in Wellston.  In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to a college fund for Robert's children at any Atomic Credit Union location.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
