Robert T. "Bob" Wilson

  Robert T. “Bob” Wilson, age 68, of Wellston, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2026 at his home. He was born January 27, 1958 to the late Thorton R. and Margaret Louise Welch Wilson in Gallipolis, Ohio. Bob was a retired self-employed truck driver who enjoyed spending time cruising the open road on his Harley. Fall would find him in the woods deer hunting. Bob also enjoyed seeing the grandkids play ball and sitting on the porch watching the cars go by. He is survived by his children, Jason Wilson (Jessie), Nichele Wilson (Joe Clemons) and Nathan Wilson (Alisha Durham); grandchildren, Jasmyn (Noah), Jarrett (Baisley), Macie (Zach), Maggie, Mason, Brennen, Breyson and Brelynn; great-grandchildren, Blakely and Kingsley; sisters, Jan Thomas (Marc) and Sally Wilson; his beloved four-legged, close companion, Rowdy Wilson, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife Melissa A. “Missi” Wilson in 2015 and great-grandson, Winston. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 4, from 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Wednesday, August 5 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Wil Gillem officiating. Burial will follow at Ridgewood Cemetery.
