Rosie E. Wagner, age 76, of Wellston, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio.  She was born May 17, 1943 in Knox County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Taylor Hibbard and Amelia Proffitt Hibbard.  Rosie was a loving homemaker and mother who raised 6 children and worked hard the majority of her life.  She was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed going to church, singing and reading her Bible.  Rosie also enjoyed playing bingo, gardening, canning and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored.  She is survived by 3 children, Dorothy Jones (Dave Finley) of Jackson, Jessie Talbert (Jack) of Waverly, and James Wagner of Oak Hill; grandchildren, Dixie Hemphill, Sherry Swisher, Jeanie Burkhart, Clinton Miller, Tia Wagner, Allison Wagner, Clayton Darst, Julie Wagner and Allan Jones; along with 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, Rosie was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Rice Wagner in 2012; children, Carolyn Kennedy, Jimmy Wagner, Jean Miller, and infant Geneva Wagner; as well as several brothers and sisters.  Calling hours will be Sunday from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 1 P.M. with John Pelletier, CLP officiating.
