Ruby Lee Bell, age 93, of McArthur, and a former resident of Wellston, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2025.  She was born March 14, 1932 in Franklin, Ohio to the late Samuel S. Steadman and Margaret "Maggie" Simmons Steadman.  Ruby was a loving homemaker and mother who had a spontaneous personality.  She enjoyed socializing and spending time with her family and friends.  Ruby was a member of the Hope Methodist Church in Wellston and a former member of the Fireman's Auxiliary.  Ruby is survived by her children, Lisa L. Adkins of Springboro and Donald V. Bell II (Jenny) of McArthur, along with 7 grandchildren, multiple great-grandchildren, and honorary grandchildren, family and special friends.  Besides her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her husband Donald V. Bell in 2003 and 2 brothers and 4 sisters.  Calling hours will be Sunday, September 21, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  A Celebration of Life service will follow the calling hours at 2 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Carmen Cline officiating.  Burial will be in the Ridgewood Cemetery.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
