Ruth Hager, age 83, of Dayton, Ohio and a former resident of Wellston, passed away Friday, July 29, 2022, at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.  She was born April 26, 1939 in Greeneville, Tennessee, daughter of the late George Mirl Gilland and Pearl Viola Roberts Fletcher.  Ruth was a former lead supervisor at QUME Electronics.  She was a proud Christian who was formerly an adult Sunday School teacher, was in charge of the ladies ministry program and was a church secretary and treasurer.  Ruth is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Weber of Dayton and Teresa Hoelscher of Xenia; sisters, Sherry McCurry, Penny Way and Bonnie Sutherland; brothers, Robert Fletcher and Bobby Gene Fletcher, along with 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, including special niece, Rachel Horner.  Besides her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Hager in 1998; and 3 brothers and 5 sisters.  Graveside service will be held Thursday, August 4th, at 1 P.M. at Dayton Memorial Park with Rev.
