Donna Ruth Russell Hayth, age 90, of Wellston, passed away Friday, November 11, 2022, at her home.  She was born October 24, 1932 in Gallipolis, Ohio, daughter of the late Sidney T. Russell and Donna L. Tuckerman Russell.  Ruth was a 1950 graduate of Middleport High School and a 1953 graduate of the Holzer School of Nursing.  She was a retired registered nurse who in years past was employed at Maple Heights Nursing Home in Wellston and was also the plant nurse at Chun King in Jackson.  Ruth was also a former real estate agent, having sold real estate for Caldwell Bankers and Wacker Real Estate.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wellston, and the Wellston, Jackson and Meigs Counties Historical Society.  Ruth's passion was to help people trace their family tree.  Besides genealogy research, over the years, Ruth also enjoyed playing bridge with her friends and fishing.  She is survived by her daughters, Susan Tripp (Steve) of Zaleski, and Sandy Manring (Roger) of Wellston; grandchildren, Stacey Crosson (John), Seth Manring (Jessica) and Robin Hall; great-grandchildren, Alysson, McKhenna, Madysson, Carrigan, Greysen, Braydon, Ethan and Case; along with several nieces and nephews, and special caregivers, Mary and Stephanie.  Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Robert L. "Dick" Hayth; son, Robert R. "Rob" Hayth; and sister, Myrna Lindsey.  Calling hours will be Tuesday, November 15th, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 1 p.m. with Pastor Nate Derochie officiating.  Burial will be in the Ridgewood Cemetery.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
