Sandra Kay Lambert, age 71, of Hamden, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2021, at the home of her son in Ray.  She was born August 23, 1950 in Vinton County, Ohio to the late Jess McManus and Minnie Gertrude Montgomery McManus.  Sandy was a 1968 graduate of Vinton County High School and was a former employee at Huston's Nursing Home in Hamden for several years.  Sandy was a big fan of Elvis Presley and she enjoyed reading romance novels, shopping for Avon and spending time with her grandchildren.  She is survived by her son, William M. "Bill" Lambert, Jr. (Erin) of Ray; step-son, Leon White (Watcharee) of Coalton; grandchildren, Katy Dayton (John), Larissa Marshall, and Isabelle, Elizabeth and Eli Lambert; brothers, Keith McManus (Charlotte) of Ray, Randy McManus (Tammy) of Jackson, Dale McManus (Lisa) of Hamden and Steve McManus (Anita) of Wellston; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Besides her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her daughter, Misty Murphy; and brother, Tom McManus.  Calling hours will be Tuesday, October 5th, from 12 to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Graveside service will follow the calling hours at 1:30 p.m. at Salt Springs Cemetery in Allensville with Pastor Rob Ervin officiating.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
