Sandra F. Young, age 78, of Wellston, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Edgewood Manor of Wellston.  She was born April 26, 1946 in Wellston, Ohio, daughter of the late Owen B. Leach, Sr. and Erma P. Spearry Leach.  Sandy was a former employee at General Mills in Wellston, and in her spare time she enjoyed going camping.  She is survived by son, Paul Young; daughter, Diane Gilliland; grandchildren, Jessica Massie, Joshua New, and Thomas Gilliland, Jr.; sister, Debbie Keck; brothers, Paul Leach and Tom Leach, along with several nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her brother, Owen Leach, Jr.  Calling hours will be Tuesday, February 25th, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston  Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 2 p.m. with Pastor Tim Jones officiating.  Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
