Shane E. Brown, age 44, of Wellston, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.  He was born March 8, 1978 in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of Roger D. Brown and Linda G. Downard Clarke.  Shane enjoyed watching all sports, but was especially a big fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes.  He is survived by his mother and step-father, Linda and Michael Clarke of Jackson; son, Bailey; grandson, Sawyer; grandmother, Ruth Downard; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, including special friends, Mikel Floyd, Zoe Fox, and the residents at Capital City Gardens in Columbus.  The family would like to give a special thanks to Shane's counselor, Hannah Fraley.  He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Brown; and grandparents, Kenneth Downard and Merrill and Irene Brown.  Calling hours will be Wednesday, November 9th, from 12 to 2 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 2 p.m. with Pastor Barry Benson officiating.  Burial will be in the Mt.
