Sharon K. George, age 73, of Wellston, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021, at Oakwood Community Health Center in Jackson, Ohio.  She was born November 16, 1947 in Franklin County, Ohio to Bill Branham and Kate Weber Branham.  In years past, Sharon was a homemaker and enjoyed going fishing and spending time with her companion, Ron.  After becoming a resident of Oakwood, she always enjoyed calling Bingo and attending church services at the facility.  She was a former member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 371 in Wellston.  Sharon is survived by daughters, Star George and Trish Thompson; step-daughter, Deborah Howland (Doc); good friend, Orval Cook; as well as several grandchildren,  nieces and nephews, including nephew, Bob Andrix.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her companion, Ron Cottrill; sister, Patricia Rawlins; and brother, Ted Branham.  Graveside service will be held Monday, February 15, 2021, at 10 a.m. at the Hamden Cemetery with Pastor Rob Ervin officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Online condolences can be sent to www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com .
