Sharon Lee Tedrow, age 79, formerly of Hamden, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the University of Kansas Health System in Kansas City, Kansas. She was born January 4, 1947 in Thornville, Ohio, daughter of the late Gordon Edward Fannin and Elsie Marie Davis Fannin. Sharon, along with her husband Max, was a former truck driver who drove truck for North American Transport Services. Sharon loved people. She never met a stranger, which made it easy for her to have conversations with others. As a trucker, Sharon always enjoyed traveling, and in her spare time she loved working in both her flower and vegetable gardens and spending time with her family. She is survived by her sisters, Jo Ann Leach, Margie Dowling, and Geraldine Dalton, along with several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Sharon was preceded in death in 1992 by her only son, for whom she grieved for many years, Tony Scott; husband, Max Tedrow; and brother, William Gordon “Buddy” Fannin. Calling hours will be Saturday, May 23, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Radcliff Cemetery.
